Go for it.  Google are pretty good and you can use Google to search just through the site, which I think would be way better and easier than the present search utility, which I think is pants to be honest.  I actually prefer to use Google to search the site rather than use that.

I have no problem with the ads as they are now.

If i wanted to look at advertising I'd watch tv where the adverts are at least amusing on rare ocassions, I would be put off coming on here if ad banners began appearing all over the page like has occured on many popular sites.

one other thing simon,is there any way of setting the link to open in a new tab, rather than just swapping the page?(my end or yours?)

HAHAHAHA ... that was the first thing I asked James ... can it be set to open the link in a new (target) window ... not sure why, but buried DEEP in their T&C, it's stated right there ... NO. Sad

I have suggested that that's an issue for me ... just waiting for a reply ... who knows - after all, Google approached me first Shocked

my question is ... do u get revenue from them been there or hits they get from this site Very Happy

I asked that too Paul - the answer is NO - no revenue for the link, UNLESS the link is clicked on ...

Another of the T&C's is that I cannot ask people to click on the links so ... all joking aside, please only click on the link if something comes up that you're interested in 8)
