Monday night ITV 9pm
More anti 4x4 bull!
So called celebs "vent their anger about some of the uk's most maddening motoring issues. In this programme, John Sergeant takes on the 4x4"
Should be worth a watch, if only to vent our anger at the TV |

In the first of three programmes offering celebrities the chance to get something off their chest on the subject of motoring, John Sergeant rails against the 4x4. The journalist argues that the vehicles create far more pollution than is necessary to simply get from A to B and are nothing more than a marker of social status, while advocates express the view that the cars offer increased safety and reliability |
Government health warning!!!
Please make sure any object capable of being thrown at T.V is placed out of reach before watching!!!

I couldn't find an appropriate forum for this but you might like to watch a programme on ITV1, Monday at 9pm, called Driving Me Crazy....... should provoke a bit of discussion! |

ok tom,
remember the drill -
1. - stay calm at all times while watching this cr*p.
2. - knives in the mitchen, no sharp objects nearby.
3. - get sophie some earmuffs.
4. - then to caml down, go out and top up my truck with fuel just to p*ss people off.
think that covers it.

Interesting bit on the caravan channel about how green are 4x4s and caravaners
Answer:
Take into account the average family 2 adults and 2 kids flying abroad, stopping in a hotel built from concrete, using all the water, electric, hotel washing all the laundry daily, travel to and from hotel in big dirty smelly bus, cost of building roads and destroying the countryside, all the waste your average tourist makes.
Now take same family holidaying in a caravan using a 4x4,
Whos creating the most pollution
Amount of pollution created by all the 4x4s in the country would be insignificant compared to every other form of transport. Give me 100% concrete evidence that 4x4s are solely and totally responsible for the demise of the planet and I will sell up and buy a horse
Mr Sergent go stick it in your ear |
