hi all well over the last 4 weeks i have had heater matrix go head gasket go head had 2 cracks so got a new one, new thermostat , new rad and now the auto-box has gone i lost lockup but cos its an old style gearbox there are no sensors its all mechanical so its a new box £1015 all in i need my motor so i have to pay if i get a second hand box it may go again in a few months this way i get a year warranty and then i can have it serviced for 150 and they will give me another year i hope this is the last of me bad luck.... i love me pj and wont give up on her....... Very Happy

i know just how you feel.

you would be shocked if you knew how much i have spent on mine, its in having the gearbox changed just now....mot next wek, so stuff being done for that too.

its jolly expensive, this pajlove!

mind you, to be fair, most of the money is in labour costs, they are old cars, and the bits are wearing out, its just that we expect them to live for ever, thats it! they're not japanese at all, they're must be ahighlanders!!, Laughing

something to do with a kind of magic if I remember rightly!

and as for paj spending....
you really wanna see some of the maintainance records for the ex lease cars at three years old we sell at work...some repair/service invoices read up to three grand plus!
on so called modern cars too...I really couldnt afford a modern car!
