Think I was supposed to get here first with a
BIG THANKS TO RICHIE
I was just waiting for the bits to arrive so I could tell the whole story...
The head on my 2.8 has cracked, and this engine was never sold in Greece (until last year diesel was only legal for goods vehicles).
Getting the head here was going to be very difficult/expensive. Then Richie drops me a line on Skype to say he might be driving over, so I had to ask didn't I?
As it turns out Richie isn't coming over but has been able to send it over anyway - I just have to get over to the WRC Rally area to pick up.
Lifesaver...
So thanks again Richie, it is what the club is about, but that doesn't mean that I'm any less grateful.
Alaric. |
