I don't think garages are supposed to do this anymore? A good while back a friend owned a garage and they used to do oil sprays on a Saturday morning, they were told by the local council enviroment officer is was illegal, I think it was to do with it dripping all up the road after Rolling Eyes

yep..thats correct..its an envoiremental dissaster apaperntly..was fine in the fifties and sixites..but nowadays its bad.
good with cheap new oil..old stuff is nasty and causes corrosion.

waxoil sprayed on is much better.

Rob its just a container with a hand pump to pressurise it ...go to the local car wash you will see them using it for the TFR for the wheels

Garden centres sell 'em or your local motor factors
Waxoil also comes in clear as well as the traditional Black stuff Wink

It also goes on easier if you imerse the tin in hot water

clean all the crud of you can as its no good sealing the dirt in  Sad
The 10 litre tin also comes with a lance as so you can get it into the chassis rails Very Happy

Personally I'm going for the black for the chassis rails and the clear for everywhere else

If you are going to use one of these sprayers, it may be worth buying a few litres of white spirit to thin it down a bit Confused After a while the white spirit will evaporate out of the waxoil and leave it thicker.
