I'm not swearing, just becasue I'm a petrol head it doesn't mean  I don't like diesel.

The reason I drove two proper diesels today.

An 02 Golf GTI 150bhp, I have never driven anything like it, the torque is unbelievable, pulls like a train and is hugely quick, much more usuable than the fast petrol one.

The second was a Passat with the 2.5 litre V6 diesel, as above for torque and power, shame the ride quality is on a par with a Pajero.

If you get a chance drive the golf  Laughing

Just thought I should balance because I always have a go at diesels, just hate slow underpowered ones thats all  Wink

Andrew
