ive got a bit on a roof rack thingy on fleeeee bay and wanted to know if it would be ok to put my suit cases on it to travel down to devon in june
its a 6ft by 4 ft proper tray rack with sides around it all in alley
were not going to have much room as there are7 of us going down
just trying to get it all the jobs done on it before i go , tyres , fuel pump leak , service , a/c matrix , tinted rear windows, the list goes on |

I put all sorts on mine, cover it with a tarp, and use a bungee cargo net
the tarp makes airflow over it instead of catchin in pockets and pulling your load off |

im buying a roof crate and the seller says that ill need some roof bars fitted first then atach the crate to that .
i thought the crate comes with 6 gutter brackets with it????????
if so , where can i get some of these brackets from like this |

Mine came complete off a club member so I dont know if you can buy them seperate. I would have thought they would have the brackets with them though Unless it's very cheap I'd wait and get a complete one, there's usually a few about |

It is mate You know yer boats I bought it a few years ago from a bloke who was on the Lizard crew who in turn bought it direct from the RNLI. It's a bit tatty but it's bloody strong and great fun with the 15 hp on it Here's the anoraky bit It's Y22 which by all reckoning was the daughter boat off the Arun ALB 52-22. I did know the name of the Arun but I've forgotten it but I do know it was in the relief fleet.
I've bought a Warrior 150 with my mate now so I think I'll be selling the Y boat. Maybe. I cant make me mind up
