yup, a big thank you is due, its very time consuming sorting out lanes for an event, not to mention the fuel costs etc.

Banham Zoo - Applewood campsite where everyone is staying. Head down to the rally field and find Mrs Grumpy
See laning thread if you are going - you need to be there before 10am |

This is now closed. If your name is not on the list then it unlikely we will be able to accomodate you as we are at breaking point already
Obviously most of you are not actually 'here' and are actually already 'there' but this isfor the locals or dayvisitors
Anyone that has Memorymap could be very helpful |

Well MOST of us got MOST of the way around. SOME of us even did it the right way around
The thing to remember is nobody got hurt
I did make one teensy weensy clerical error with the route but it's ok I don't think anyone noticed
You'd of thought after printing out all those maps and highlighting the route by hand I would of spotted it Even if most of this was done at 1.30 in the morning 3 hrs BEFORE I HAD TO GET UP AGAIN
Well done to everyone. It was a shame we had to miss out some of the lanes as some of these were the better ones.
I haven't had a chance to hear much of how it went in the other 4 groups but a special well done to all of those brave intrepid explorers in group 5 who probably had the most experience but least support route wise (Taz did those supplies ever reach you )
Thank you to Bigboots for taking the lead of his group with very little notice and armed only with my GPS as his was misbehaving.
Thank you to all of my group for not abandoning me during the trying first half of the day before lunch when I was finaly reunited with my beloved GPS (Don't forget 3 HOURS SLEEP!!!!!)
And of course thank you to Ginny and Andy for all the work they have done building up to this.
Also I was touched that I was saved the embarrassment of standing up during the the 'Thank you's that night |
