Reviving a 10-year-old thread, I'm very proud that my freebie Challenger reached 250,000 kilometres yesterday. This was on the return leg of a journey to the Mediterranean, along the Pyrenees and then back home on the western side of France. It used no oil or coolant, and apart from the SRS light now being on it ran faultlessly. The newly installed cruise control worked perfectly and took a lot of the strain out of driving long distances. Up on mountain tracks in the Pyrenees, the Challenger felt unstoppable and never gave me a moment's doubt.
