Hmmmm... I need to give this a lot more thought...
As it's 325 miles each way, we thought we'd make a proper holiday of it and book for two weeks... from Saturday 03.05.08 to Saturday 17.05.08, with the Mega Meet in the middle... but the cheapest static available for that period is going to be £556 (£50 deposit now, balance by end of March)!!!
If we could afford to pay in full straight away, which we simply can't, it would still be £444 for the two weeks!!! Add to that about £200 in fuel, to get there and back plus, say, 350 miles for driving around (working on an average of 25mpg over 1,000 miles), it makes it a very expensive trip... and that's before we eat and drink, etc.!!
I'm looking for Plan B, but it's looking rather doubtful, I'm afraid! |

Right, I've booked a 6 berth standard caravan for 9th, 10th and 11th. Now all I need to do is let them know at work that I will be off , find out which daughters are doing which exam's when, hope that Clare (aka SWMBO) can get some time off work.....Oh and get Mitsi sorted......well I've got a few months |
