This is the radio antenna, not heating elements.

Later models have antenna on both sides, and the radio switches between them, depending on which on has a stronger signal (Diversity antenna).

So mine is a 1991 MK2 Pajero. 2.5TD. I love gadgets.

I have two batteries.

I have a heater under the rear seat. I didnt know that was what it is. How do you operate it, and how do you set a timer on it? thats a great idea.

Did anyone find out how to do this, can you have it on without the engine running? Or does it just run with the rest of the heating?

This thread is hilarious!  Have two people yet come up with the same spec for a winter pack??

Mine ('99 LWB 3.0 petrol Shoggie) has heated seats and heated mirrors, rear heater (but not climate control front or rear), no heated screen strip, but a locking rear diff.  I'm also trying to find out if it has a body lift.   Laughing

It should have "Pajero Bluemoon" stickers on the doors, be a SWB, have all the wheel arches, bumpers and door strips colour coded in the special blue. The stickers on the car will be gold, it will also have a silver grill with the LWB square headlights.

I've just read all 17 pages of this thread trying to get to the bottom of just what they should and should not have.  I have been driving my 1994 2.8 Exceed for 3 very happy and reliable years now and have just been outside to see what it's fitted with.

It has the twin battery set up and I can assure you all that both batteries are doing the same job.
It has heated front seats - leather
Heated windscreen strip
Heated door mirrors
Twin heating systems, front one is digital, back one is not, but I'm sure these are standard on all Pajeros.
Heated rear window, again standard fittrment on all Pajeros, and the switch also operates the heated mirrors on the doors.
It has the red rear door sticker without the snowflake.

The above is what I think the "Winter Pack" consists of.

Regarding oversize alternators, started motors, uprated glowplugs, etc, I have no idea.  I can also categorically tell you that the heater in the rear under the seat utilises warm cooling water for it's heat source and not diesel fuel.

Had my paj a few weeks, spent an hour reading this,
I have,
Twin batts, although 1 was knackered and draining the other, so currently have 1,
A switch for wiper heater, don't know if it works,
Headlight washers, don't think they work,
Orangey sticker on back door, no snowflake tho
Red sticker in door pillar, so has lsd ?

40mm body lift, standard on all 2.8's ?
A digital heater/climate control, with 2 off buttons ? Aircon in front,  manual rear heater
Heated mirrors, unknown.
