Hi guys, just thought i'd say that after 3 weeks of contacting mmc re: pitman arm. i can safely say that i am impressed with mitsi dealer in swindon. took car in today and had it replaced after they confirmed it needed to be replaced on the recall notice.
What a great bunch of guys, top class service from them.
And my good lady even managed to chat the service advisor up and got a free health check done, while it was in there. GREAT NEWS my paj is healthy.

so i would say if you not done it then do it.

Hello Newbie here

   I got my pajero last January and am very pleased with it 2.8td LWB european import  Very Happy .  Found this website and am very impressed with it, lots of usefull information.  Found the pitman arm recall link and e-mailed mitsi uk and after a week or so they replied saying it needed doing.  Booked car in to Mill Lane Mitsubishi in Aldershot (confused them when the chassis No. is not on their computer) but they did the job no probs also had the idler arm assy changed by them and was very impresed  Very Happy  steering wheel on straight no leaking pas box am very happy
