Evil or Very Mad I recently purchased a Pajero LWB Exceed from IGW, they had around ten to choose from, they were well presented and all seemed in good condition, i decided on a silver/white with all the goodies on. We spent a bit of time over price and part ex allowance and the deal was done.

The salesman said it came with a three month warranty and the car would be serviced before i picked it up. I asked what sort of a service would be done, and he said "whatever needs doing will be done" I was travelling down to Cornwall the following week so i was keen to make sure everything was ok. On collection i was told a full sevice had been done, including new brake pads. The day after i looked under the bonnet and had a look at the air filter, it was old and choked with dust, the brake pads had never been touched, and the wiper blades were falling apart. By the look of things it had only had an oil and filter change.

I rang IGW and told them, and they put me onto the service guy, he made some excuse about having to check the job sheet, but said if i brought it back in they would do the neccessary, all very well, but at my inconvenience. More importantly, they tried to sell me a vehicle hoping i wouldn't notice the work they should have carried out.

I would not go back to them for another car, they wont have the chance to put their bad practices to use on me again.
