|

Hi all, just a quick one on the fuel filter and housing.....
My Shogun has been connected up to a separate filter (off a Rover i wasa told) via replacement re enforced plastic/rubber hoses. I would like to connect back up to the original housing/primer.
So I've had a look on the bay of E, and milners to gauge parts available and prices.
Mitzybitz have the housing /primer for £25,(Ebay) milners £50!
Fuel filters are cheaper on milners, but it's standard delivery of £4.50 so more expensive when added together.
Also I would like to change the water sensor, I have seen one on the bay of E from Belgium for £15 with postage.
So are there any other suppliers I can look at that would have the parts I need????
Thanks in advance for any recommendations |

The one from Mitzbits is probably a second-hand one and the Milners one will be new.
I got some stuff from Mitzybits and they sent the wrong stuff - they never answered my messages so I bought some more from Milners.
By "water sensor" I assume you mean the temperature sensor for the temperature gauge - if yours is a MkII then Milners sell them.
Milners postage seems a lot - but most things arrive next day

I reckon it's the float switch and water drain that fits in the base of the fuel filter:
If so, £15 for a new one sounds OK to me. |

Personally i would give any money to Mitsibitz as they charge top money for old rubbish.... George at Pajero shop . com maybe able to help or even Mark Redfern on the Facebook Delica page..... he keeps loads of stuff and all new...
And regarding the filter housing, you wont need one with the temp sensor and heater element as diesel now has an additive and hasn't waxed up when cold for 20 years |
