Hi, I have searched the site for this answer and found that the recommendation is to use Mitsubishi ATF 111 for the automatics. It seems other fluids can cause problems with overheating and gear changes. If you do a search for changing auto fluid you should find the information.

Hi, just looked up my owners manual to confirm details. It states oil type Mitsubishi Genuine ATF-SP II and capacity is Approx 3.5L. Sorry for the mis info on last reply.

Sorry for the late reply - I am only just back on the forum - so I expect you have done this now.
When I changed mine I used whatever was available.
