Just had to replace 1 number plate bulb(Silly me for not checking all lights bulbs thoroughly)
And the tailpipe was split underneath.
Wasn't a bad job doing the tailpipe but all three flange fixing bolts are fitted into captive nuts to the rear of the adjoining exhaust flange and you know what nuts end up looking like after a few years on an exhaust(They nearly always need cutting or grinding off unless your lucky enough to undo them with an impact socket)well I had to grind the heads off the bolts and drill out the remains left in the captive nuts.Unfortunately I had to replace with nuts and bolts as I knackered the threads in the captive nuts not drilling very square(Hard job with your head under the motor)Oh remember to keep some sharp drills in yer toolbox  Wink

Anyway all done and back in for the MOT and I'm blessed with another years motoring now.
Cost was £40 for the tailpipe and gasket (Free bulb.........courtesy of many hours trolling scrapyards Wink )and usual fee for the MOT so I am happy again  Very Happy  Very Happy

It's certainly nice not having any welding to do as my ole Discovery needed welding done every year.

Dave
