I had an oil leak from bottom main spindle on my power steering gearbox on my 2.5 shogun sport, Tried an additive which claimed to stop leaks but did'nt work, Contacted Gary from Western Power steering who had a reconditioned unit in stock, The unit arrived within 2 days, I got my local garage to fit it & every thing was O/K, I was instructed by Gary to refit the plastic screw  inserts in to my old gearbox Repack the unit in the box the reconditioned unit came in & affix the supplied label, Phone Gary to arrange collection, A courier picked it up 9.30 am the next day, ( All was so simple ) for the price of £230 inc VAT,  Delivery & Collection. Compare this to Milners  charging £420 inc VAT plus an exchange surcharge of £100 plus postage. I also tried a local place & they wanted to recondition my old unit for £220 & would need to have the unit 3-4 days They also stated that if there where any major components worn ie. not just seals etc then that would be extra, I think the service Western Power Steering gave me was worth a mention on our club site.
