Hi All
I am on my 3rd Pajero now and just fancy a change
I have been looking at a Mitsubishi Sport 2.5 Eppique? if thats how you spell it
It is 2002 o2 plate 28000 mls looking at paying about £5250 for it
One owner full history
I think that is a good price
Am I doing the correct thing changing from my existing Pajero 2.8 LWB
I will be gratful for any comments good or bad
Regards

Seems a cheap motor to me, and the 1000 you will get for the Pajero !! will help.
Well, a 1000 when I can find a 1000, how about a tenner down, and ten a week ? |

Hi there alan,
Well its up to you, as its a matter of personal choice, but remember this, its a BUYERS market out there and there's got to be plenty of haggeleing space, also there are loads and loads of them on the market because of the price of fuel, so then, my advice and I should think lots of the chaps on here would agree with me, when I say this, TAKE YOUR TIME and dont go for the first one you see, have a good look at several and persist in haggeling about the current price you see on the windscreen and the very best of luck, with the one you choose at the end of all you looking.

Hi
Well I have had a good look and it is in almost mint conditin and a local previous owner
But I dont think it is anywhere near as pooky as my pajero
Maybe the 2.8 is better
It also seems basic inside not as many toys
We are both very close to agreeing a price
It has had a SORN since August and the guy is willing to put a new MOT on it
But I still cant make up my mind trouble is I have been so happy with the Pajero
I could be tempted to get a 3.1 Pajero but none around here |

i think its back to the old debate 2.5 or 2.8 whether it be paj challenger or shogun sport with the price of diesel maybe them extra couple of mpgs might sway ya when i went from 2.5 paj to 2.8 challenger was impressed with the extra cc,s but know i could easly go back to 2.5 and it does sound good your choice. drive it |

Hi
Yes I am at my daugthers who lives in Somerset (Nether Stowey) for the weekend
So I was able to give the sport a run up the motorway
I was able to give it a good wash and a quick polish and it looks as if it has just come from the showroom
It ran really well and sat around 70mph no trouble but then again with only 28000 mls on the clock it should
The other half likes it as well
I dont know how the fuel will compare with the pajero I dont suppose there will be much difference even though this is the 2.5 manual
The road tax is a little more
Do the imports have much more on them than the UK spec and are most auto ????
I really like the look of it Black over biege nice set of alloys
Regards

UK sport is pretty well equiped(can never spell that) just tends to be a whole lot more chrome on the Challenger and the climate control and thats about it ...........Fuel consumption should be slightly better as it weighs about 200kg less than the Paj...based on the Warrior chassis
,,and if you ask Mistsi I think you can buy a power upgrade chip |

Well then Alan, what did you have to pay for your road tax, as its going up to £400 very shortly, if it hasn't already done so.
