Alan |
Buy one off Ebay and save yourself £600, they just plug in and make sure it's a genuine Mitsubishi one.

The information I was supplied from a Mitsubishi mechanic from this site was it is that easy as long as you get the older power upgrade, which has 2 boxes, it's the same item on the L200 and Shogun Sport.
The new version of the power upgrade is the same through all models of Mitsubishi cars with a different map on it and they enter the car VIN number for warranty and records, I have been told that the new version I have fitted to my car will fit any Shogun Sport and work but will have no warranty and have the wrong car details in it such as the VIN.

I hope this helps,

Disconnect the battery, plug the power upgrade in and then connect the battery backup and off you go, no pump adjustments.
