ive moved my heater controls to where your cd changer is on yours gazz1zz
if i was u id remove the changer etc and put your heater controls there and just add a dvd player like i have done
i got mine off fleebay for £70 it plays dvd/mp3/mp4/j.peg has sd card slot usb slot works a treat
u can buy rca splitters from maplins so u can add 2 sets of rca leads to the tv tuner
thats what i have done on mine just not sure what else to add lol
leee i pm u about the wire u cut so u can use the screen on the move cant seam to figure it out
any ideas
i cut the white/blue wire on the back of the jap radio but it still goes off when u drive |

Nice one ... when moving the heater controls do you have to chop or add any wiring for them to reach the new location ? |

with regards to the wiring, i dont think it comes from the radio to turn the screen off/on. there is probably a wire going to the screen which needs attention.
it is either always 12v and turns off when driving or its 0v and turns on when driving. hope that makes sense. if its the latter then the wire needs to be cut, if the former then it needs cutting and 12v applied to it from another source.
i have to strip mine out soon becuase i want to check something. if i have time ill run a meter over the connections to see which one it is, but because i dont have the tv tuner/button then it may be immpossible for me to check.

heater controller just unplugs then plugs back in but make sure the pipe that goes to it is reattached. |

it tells u to cut the vss wire and thats on the radio plug
but i did that and it still goes off |

thats a different system, with a different screen. also i dont think the wire that is cut is going to the radio, it could either be the navi control or the screen. |

hi , i have just bought a 98 pajero exceed which comes complete with the sat nav tv etc , can anyone tell me were about i would find the tv tuner as i have a reversing camera i want to install any hepl would be appreciated. I am new on here not sure of my way round yet

Hi Steve, not sure about the 98 model mate, but mine is hiden behind the rear quater panel plastics in the boot passenger side

thanks for that will have a look but me thinks the tv tuner may not be fitted as when i press the tv button nothing happens but hey will have a look anyway, Its a P reg exceed model |
