is the auto box oil the same at the 2.8, sp3 millarmatic? still have some left over |

Also , I think the dipstick is different from the 2.8. Engine running and upto temp, going through gears the oil level should be no higher than the highest mark for hot ? |

No, the original specification was SP II.
When Mitsubishi introduced the SP III specification they made it backwards compatible so dealers only stocked SP III as it is fine for older SP II specified vehicles and is a useful ATF upgrade due to its superior performance in the SP II specified boxes, so yes it is fine and a better ATF. |
