Hi folks, just had an MOT fail for to high Corbon Monoxide level  Sad .  Garage have taken a look and think that the head gasket may be leaking but cant see anything so its just an educated guess on thier part.  Is this a possibility? Any way of testing/checking?
Would be grateful for any suggestions.
Regards
JDM

Get them to do a sniffer test on it .........basically its a piece of gas testing kit and will show any variations from the norm you could also try the old condom test on it ....stick one over the rad neck and see if it blows up .if it does NOT good news  Crying or Very sad

However when was the last time the air filter was changed  Confused .....take the offending object out .........FULL bottle of injector cleaner in the tank which needs to be on or around the fuel light coming on ....and stuff the highest octane calibre fuel you can in either Shell or BP Ultimate ..........and cane the *rse off it before a retest get the Cat glowing.......worth a go jd Wink High Monoxide is very suggestive of either blocked injectors and a naff airflow  Wink

HTH Fella  Very Happy
