Not sure if VB could be used - its a Linux host so at best it would have ChillisoftASP (i.e. VB 6 Classic ASP)

Simon, if you want I could possibly write and host something on my paje.ro site (I'm a VB.Net / ASP.Net programmer by trade)

Hi Stu,

there are many ways that the club can be funded but I guess our administrator has a large bill to pay and not enough funds. If I was asked for £10 annual membership (20p per week) I would pay it and I'm sure that a good few others would also be happy too do so.

regards,

Mark.

No problem here.

the thing is, if EVERY registered Club Member sent just a pound ... nobody 'feels the pinch', EVERYBODY makes an equal, financial contribution, the Club gets more than enough money for at least the next 12 months and nobody (including myself) ends up with the burden of financial responsibility ...
Simon

I know from the web stats ... MANY more browse the site without logging in than log in first then browse ... what can I say dontknow

I guess I just need to send out an appeal by mass-mail.

For those that have contributed so far ...

THANK YOU!!!

Simon

Hi Simon I concur with others Smile  A small annual fee would not be out of order Wink  My donation will be winging its way to you (literally) by the end of the day

Whatever happens  PLEASE DONT LET THIS SITE FAIL
What would we do without it

First of all ...

Thank you to those who have contributed to-date ...

I apologise for not issuing personal thanks to each of you - but you know who you are!

The pot now stands at around £1000, with a significant contribution about to come in from 2GFS.

Thankfully, due to my own personal circumstances, (ie - back in work now after 9 months out!) I am in a position to state that the server renewal will be secure for the next 12 months!

However ... please don't stop the contributions coming in ...

The various Club Insurances are due in the next few weeks ... over another grand to find!

Thanks again ... I couldn't do this without your continued support!

Simon

Well I for one have found this site invaluable, the amount of problems and niggles on my paj that have been solved by either chatting with members or reading old posts is huge!

I will be donating as soon as I get near my wallet! and I'll become a LTM as soon as I'm not totally skint!

I'll be honest, I've only just noticed this post, maybe you should wave it around a little more!

Long live the club!

Steve

hi all,
i have only just found this link by chance, so i think to be honest Simon it may be better if you send out a mass e-mail link to this page to every member, perhaps you may even get someone as anoying to you as me, to pay his due's.  Wink
