Are you getting about 12V on the busbar (it is only live for about 10s after switching on the ignition)

Can you hear the relay click?

the dash glow plug light only stays on a few secs the relay stays energizer for about 10secs start engine then the glow plug relay is re-energized for another minute or so.
you may see warning light for glowplugs come on and you may also hear the relay clicking on/off but that does not mean you have power/12v going to the glow plug rail you need to attach a 12v test light to the rail or a meter just to make sure you are getting 12v if you arnt it will be a pig to start.

As above, changing parts willy nilly is fine if you have money to burn but it's pure guess work unless you do a bit of diagnostics first  Very Happy

Check you have 12 volt (or there abouts) at the bus bar for the 10 second's after the ign only is on from cold,  if not check for it at the large relay (solenoid) terminal's,  one should be a constant live and the other a switched live.... my guess is its the heater plug fuse by the battery positive terminal has popped or the cable from relay to bus bar has failed  (a very common problem) in which case just run a new cable  Very Happy

Hi guys thanks for the info...today I had a few checks done ...
Battery ok
Buzbar ok
glow plugs renewed
Relay censor...seems as to not make a click sound always
On inspection. I think it is sticking and if you give it a tap with a small hammer ...I get a correct reading and a click
So I am going to replace this censor
Any one got one for sale?
Regards

Relay is sticking - either open it up and clean the contacts or replace it.

I have used Boltonbits - they are a very good company. I bought some LED tail lights and one was faulty - they replaced it in two days.

Trouble with Milners is the P+P, which can make something you think is reasonable, turn out not so when you ad it.
