Hi all. Just wondering if anyone could help. I have a problem with camber on Paj 2.5 SWB. Have tried most of the garages in the North Wales area and no one seems able to adjust. Anyway my question is - does anyone know of a garage that could adjust the camber for me?

Do you know if the Paj has been involved in a prang? Has anyone actually looked to see if there is a bend/twist/crease underneath that is causing the lack of adjustment.

I haven't had to play with my under carriage at all, so know little about it on a Paj, but there are others on here that know every inch of them.

Hi, not all vehicles have adjustable camber , but I believe that Pajero's are adjustable. Try taking it in to an ATS depot ,  normallythey are geared up for all steering geometry and alignment adjustments , and should be able to help you . Good luck , cheers Mike R

No prangs, a few mounted kerbs, loads of sleeping policemen. Took it to ATS initially and they were the ones who noticed the camber was out but they dont do it. Nearest place I found is Kwikfit in Telford a round trip of 170 miles. It is adjustable and all is well underneath. Oh well day trip to Telford I think, that will please the missus.
Thanks for the replies. Dave O.

Surely Manchester or Liverpool would be closer if it comes to it. There must be someone there that does it.

I have phoned Kwikfit and ATS in both Liverpool and Manchester and neither do camber. One of the problems with living in Wales!

it is adjustable but not in the same fasion as most other cars

what you need to do is go to mitsibusi and get a couple of shims they do 2 sizes get a couple of each then were the top arm bolts to the chassie lossen off the bolts put in the shim tighten up and recheck

word of warning it wont be a 5 min job to do

you can do it your self with a flat service and a sprit level  Wink

Hi guys. Thanks for info. Will give Buckley tyres a bell see what they can do. Phoned nearest Mitsubishi dealer who said that they can do it but they charge by the hour (£76.00) anything up to 3hrs. Not sure whether thats a fair price or not. If I have no luck with Buckley tyres I'll go with the shims.
Something else I'm curious about, apart from the obvious wear on the tyres what else could I expect to encounter if I left it and just rotated the tyres.

Cheers.

What I mean, is there going to be any other effects on the Paj e.g suspension, breaks etc if I left for a week or so?
