Well what can i say apart from THANK YOU to sid73 and mazeroo, stoney and wild-gal for organizing a crackin weekend.
The laning and treasure hunt were fantastic some hard work went into that, much appreciated, we loved it
Social evenings were very entertaining if a little windy (jase) and very muddy but we all still drank plenty and fed well.
Enjoyed meeting new people and seeing old faces (even the ones that cant remember my name lol)
All in all we had a great time playing silly games and talkin into the wee small hours now i need to sleep for a few days i think |

Thanks for a great weekend
I loved it and Anne loved it but I now have a 9yr old son with webbed feet and an 11yr old electricity addict
I'm getting some beers and a big bag of popcorn for when the videos from sunday night get posted |

What a fabulous weekend, special thanks to sid73 and mazeroo, stoney and wild-gal for organizing the weekend. We really loved the treasure hunt and would like to thank Malibu Mandie for the great navigation most of the time - nobody's perfect, but thanks a lot from us first timers - pity about the cow muck!!
Hope to see everybody in the future. |

Thanks to the organisers and everyone that makes these meets a great place to be.
I also found out how to make the back seats fold into a bed in the process, which Rebecca tells me is quite comfortable to sleep on.
Thanks to the kids too who kept Rebecca occupied on Sunday and left me to catch up on some much needed sleep (ok pretty much all of Sunday was probably a bit excessive though ) these late nights with my nose in a book don't half take it out of me. Worth it though 96% for the latest assignment |

Once again, PitP was a great success, well done Jase & Marie
Loaded up Friday afternoon, was just ready to set off @ 4:00pm, and got a puncture on the trailer
so put the spare on, and set off
got nearly halfway, and had a blowout on the trailer (the brand new tyre on the spare I'd just put on)
After a lot of phoning round, finally managed to get the trailer recovered to the campsite
Thanks all, even Karen who couldn't understand how my Paj only had one wheel too much Malibu I think
I finally got on site @ 10.30pm (Thanks for the help pitching up in the dark folks)
Finally got into the beer tent @ 1:30am, then crashed for the night just before 4:00am
Sat morning got a new tyre for the trailer, then went for a drive with the kids around the local towns in the afternoon
Catching up with old friends, meeting new ones, BBQs, quizzes, bingo and games in the small hours, and half a dozen kids crashed out in my tent, and tripping over them @ 6:30am made it the usual meet
Shame a river ran through it in the night and we all woke up soaked, but we didn't let it spoil the weekend
the sleeping bags were all hung up to dry (thanks again for that folks) and the camping continued
Spent Sunday chilling out, and then it was back to the beer tent after dark
Can't wait to see the vids of Jon, Jase & Marie playing the games
As the kids were crashed out on the dry bed in the tent, and one on the backseat of the paj, I slept in the front, and finally woke up with a bad head @ midday (Thanks to Mandie's game)
Thoroughly enjoyed the weekend, and the kids are now fast asleep, and I'm thinking of hitting the hay myself now
Thanx again to everyone that made the meet what it was, another great success
That's me done for camping till March now, see you all soon |

A big thank's for a cracking weekend, and thanks to everyone who helped out with the lack of electric/gas.
The treasure hunt was spot on, and the party games yesterday night were hilarious, can't wait to see all the pictures/videos.
