He shouldn't do that ... it'll just be deleted Rolling Eyes

stop advising people to 'make 10 posts' ... It's NOT '10 posts'!!!! Rolling Eyes

As ONE of the ANTI-SPAM measures, newbies HAVE to make a minimum number of posts AND have been a registered member a minimum period of time - neither are published as I don't want to make things ANY easier for the spammers Rolling Eyes

Sorry Nige ...

I slightly mis-read your first reply ...

the problem remains ... suggesting that '10 posts are required', (even by posing it as a question), is misleading as it's NOT true for posting URL's and, generally leads to 'newbies' making 10 random posts simply to try and post a picture, then complaining when it STILL doesn't work!

For posting web-links, it's BOTH a 'few' normal posts AND a minimum of a 'few' days membership - both dynamic and neither very high Cool

Odd ... you must have either registered in 2003 with a different name / email address, or you're mistaken - the 'joined date' can't be wrong Rolling Eyes

A good alternative to photobucket is http://imageshack.us/

No need to sign up, just upload your picture, choose whether to resize it and then copy one of the links it shows you and post the link in your message.
