been in IT too many years to want to remember and have seen and tried most of the different products, I always recommend Avast (free if you want) however I use the paid version (does not cost much) and in all my years have never had a virus (have cleaned lots off other peoples PCs) even though they had a variety of different anti-virus products, none are fool proof and the virus writers are getting smarter all the time. Just do not click on anything you are not sure about.

i used to use mcafee,but switched to avast,very happy with it,also like the boot time scan. |

have used avg antiviri an kaspersky but now use eset's nod32
it checks for updates every hour if there is an update it gets it there an then
no questions about do you want to get it
scans downloads as they come in but b4 its save to the hard drive
emails file transfers ie pages etc covers everything
well worth the money |
