A dead easy and quick way to clean your hands after working on the Paj is to pour on some normal fairy liquid (or any standard soap) and just pour a handfull of sugar in aswell.  Works just as well and in same way as Swarfega. salute

Before working on your Paj rub Vasaline into your hands. Don't laugh  Laughing

Act as a barrier cream and helps the grime to come off. Wink

Gloves for me too most of the time. Otherwise barrier cream (if I've run out of gloves!)

If you catch something sharp and the glove splits - generally that's a good warning that there's something sharp that would have cut your hand if you weren't wearing gloves Smile
