Please forgive me if I am using up too much bandwidth , but could someone explain why sometimes when I send PMs, they get sent immediately and other times they sit doing nothing in my "outbox"?
Thanks in anticipation. |

Hi Paul,
this is covered somewhere else in the forums (don't have the time to find it - sorry )
The PM system is managed on a database.
The PM's stay in one place and only their status changes ... the PM will always go to the outbox (sent, unread) when you first post it, then go to the sentbox once the recipient has read it ... if it hangs around in your outbox for a while, this is simply because the recipient hasn't read it yet.

Simon
Thanks For clarifying that .
Likewise I know that it has been covered elsewhere in the forum, but have neither the time nor the inclination to look for it! Hence the apology for using up unnecessary bandwidth!! (LOL)
Best Regards
