Right, just picked this up, deal, (or no deal)   you show me wild camping (do I need a boyfriend for this, if so, Kyle, what you doing  Laughing )

and I will show you all the best lanes of North Wales, camping on top of the wayfarers has got  to be something wild.

If you need something closer, then Jo would show you some of the Mid to south wales stuff, and she sleeps well in the back of her Paj.

I have to be careful, so, don't go places where I know we would be stuck, well OK perhaps the pheasant steps John, but even if I say it myself, must be one of the most experienced guys in here, so, just don't take risks etc, and always have all the gear we would ever need.

Nick, I'm so curious as to the story attached to the U boat in your sig  Smile

Richie, you're on. let me know when and i'll be happy to show you a couple of local wild camp sites i've spotted, (boyfriend not obligatory) one i've used, even did a spot of fishing while i was there  Wink

and yes, def into the whole north Wales experience, though would prefer late summer.

I love building scale model U boats ...spent about 300 hrs on each build  Embarassed  well longer than that the 1/72nd Type V11C has take 3 1/2 Years so far photo etched brass bronze props crew  figures drain holes cut out by hand .had made scale wooden deck...the list goes on .so does the endless purchase of U Boat books for photo reference   Embarassed  Embarassed  Laughing

Respect, my forte was military vehicles; tanks, trucks, half tracks etc, used to spend hours and hours on them, especially making little mods like using bog paper to replicate barrel shrouds etc, ahhh, those were the days :sigh:

would love to see some pics if you have any.

hey im up for some camping laning wkend im from southampton, good thing about having a delica is u dont need a TENT! we have done some in salisbury areas absolutely great fun!

we used to do a lot of wild camping back home as well, walk, camp, walk then camp again. occasionally we bring live chickens with us for fresh food! dont think i would do that here in uk tho! we are actually doing one weekender end of november in salisbury downton, racecourse that area should be good fun! mud and wet!!
