Hi All,

On Weds my Paj (as seen below) is going in for this bloomin recall of a pitman arm. Is there anything I should know about before I go? I hear that sometimes the sterring wheel is not right (straight) when they've done with the car.....!!!

how long am I expecting to wait for the car?
I will be going to  Mitsubishi in Hemel Hempstead
Any tips would be great.

Did you speak direct to the dealer about this. Mine needs doing and is included in the recall, but was told the nearest dealer to me was in London.

i think it depends on how hard getting the old one off is     its a time factor  , as they don't make a profit on it , too long on removal then quick put back on   and hope for the best  Laughing

deanno, Yes mate, they called me (Hemel Branch) very good they were too. Best thing is to call em direct. They even started to send me TXT's to make sure that I did not forget...

Nick, I tent to TRY can keep my car clean as best I can, but If I forget to empty the ashtray.....!!!!!

I have to say, and I'm sure all will agree, "so far" the paj's are great cars and Mitsubishi as a company well, they seem to be great... Even for imports! What more do you want?.... (Apart from actual weight figures!!!)

Mine went to the dealer for the pitman:

. They 'mislaid' the booking. Rolling Eyes
. Gave me a hire car but with a £2500 excess  Shocked  Mad
. Didn't wash it Sad
. Had it all over the weekend because ' the chap' who does them is on holiday. Confused
. Tried to peel the stickers off the back door  Evil or Very Mad
. The place is run by 14 year olds with spikey hair and rings in their eyebrows  Laughing

Needless to say I will NOT be going back there anytime soon  Evil or Very Mad  Evil or Very Mad  Evil or Very Mad  Mad
