This is what we can get in a standard sort of set-up...... maxed out with a 6" body lift.

This is what we all want, 3 link with Fox 2.0 Air shocks......nice!!!, also with a 6" body lift.

Stop moaning Jo.... look at this for a standard MK1...it will just about get up a curb......and you can see where the rear wheel spun out.... I was trying..

Jo

No it's a coiler... i will be getting some LWB springs and crank the bars but looking at it when it was like this it appears the restriction is the rear shock, it's hanging on it at full travel and not letting the axle drop, the otherside has inches to go before it hits the (cut down) bump stops... front bump stops are also cut down so droop is a bit better.....

just a thought... if that is all the travel availiable in your shocks, then putting LWB springs on it might not be such a hot idea. As your shocks will be 'stretched' out by the longer spring, and the shock will in effect have LESS travel once the longer springs are in place.

Youre going to end up with a very rigid back axle  Confused which is not good

when i put the coil spacers on mine, the shock still has plenty of travel left in them.....

do the shock extenders do the same as a +2" shock?

a longer shock will obviously allow more flex, therefore keeping back wheels closer to the ground for longer....
