My shocks are the original 20 year old ones.... they don't work that well anyway... I will replace them soon with some longer ones, thought I'd whip one off and head for the breakers to find a compatible shock but longer.... unless anyone knows of one already???
Or I was looking today at welding on the top shock mounts at a lower point on the chassis and use standard shocks....
And now I have another plan.... subzeros shock extenders... less work for me.... How much are they?

mind you, you not gonna improve the flex on the front end unless you do something drastic.....Ive heard of putting a toyota axle on? Sounds like alot of hard work! |

Hi
Is that Hilux shocks ARE 2" longer than a Paj or you have to get extended Hilux shocks i.e. modified Hilux shocks that are 2" longer than standard Hilux shocks.....
Does that make sence.....??

yep that makes sense. the are 2" longer than stock hilux shocks, like how we normally get 2" longer paj shocks, just get 2" longer hilux shocks. they are the rear shocks of an IFS hilux (NOT solid axle)
they were rancho R5000s i think as well |

because if you looked in the first picture, the one on the left is with 2" pajero shocks, the one on the right has 2" hilux shocks, and the one on the right has more flex... |

Has anyone got/seen any Quick release Anti Roll Bar setup on a truck?
These setups only look good for your rear axle.... What can be done at the front??
Can you do some sort of... (If I spell it right) Sailsbry Axle?? You know so you drop the drive down 6" at the end of your axle. Can you do that in the front??
I know questions, questions, and more questions..... LOL |
