|
|
Kicking around with something at the moment ...
how would you lot feel if I could offer a full range of Pajero & Delica parts (OEM & 'identical match') at a competitive price, on a 'mainland UK next day' service through the club?
I am looking in to available options and I think I may be about to secure a deal.
Let me know
Simon. |

Right now, I'de settle for a "24h return Pump service" at the moment.....
Good idea though, but I think it would cost a fair bit to get the larger parts distributed within 24hs then there are the usual "Except scotland coz they have no reasonable roads [Joke]" exceptions and alike. |

I have a contact in the logistics / delivery business who do 'guaranteed mainland UK next day delivery' for orders received by 18:00 ... because of the order processing / handling and communication, I could do 15:00 cutoff ... this could be improved with tighter order handling ...
If things go well, I could have something in place before my 40th

Also meant to say:
like in my post to Ivor, give me next day delivery, and a cost that beats other suppliers, and you have my trade, so go for it, and coming from the next day business, there are some places that cant be next day UK, but they are also so far out that even Pajero's cant get there,
But, many companies in the parcel delivery business offer next day anywhere UK, and 99% of them suceed with it.
Let's hope it works. |

Even though there is no chance of next day delivery up here, I would support the venture, though I have to say that I will always spend more for a superior product esp when its safety related, and wait longer.
Cheers

Sounds a good idea to me.....
Just getting hold of some of the parts will be a good start,
I know most are available over here but it takes a bit of shopping around by the sounds of it. (not needed much myself so far yet) |

Yep, go for it Simon - I'll certainly support you when I need bits (although if you're 26 now, we might have some time to wait!!)

Simon,
FANTASTIC idea - just got shafted over £80 for wiper linkage for my MK1 Pajero. It's taken the dealer over a week and I'm still waiting for the bushes so can't fit the wipers. Do you reckon they load the spares prices for imports?
I will definitely source parts through POCUK, provided prices are competitive. 24 hour delivery would not be a general requirement for me, though.
Cheers, Gareth |
