Hello everyone. Hope you’re well and stay safe !
Just got my 33 “ 12.5  15 tyres in my beast, Pajero mk2 swb fitted.
Thay are about 1” wider than existing original wheel arches.
Do we have to extend them ? If yes, please give us some diy ideas how to do it, what stuff to use etc.
Any suggestions/help is appreciated.
Cheers

I don't think it's defined in UK vehicle regulations, but it's likely that your vehicle will fail an MOT if the tread protrudes past the wheel arch.

I suggest this kind of solution, which is easy to fit: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4x4-Offroad-UNIVERSAL-WHEEL-TRIM-ARCH-EXTENSIONS-FENDER-FLARES-5cm-2-inch-K50/262811877725

I bought a set of those only a few days back, they seem pretty solid and will follow the arch profile well, plus they can be cut down and trimmed to shape. Only issue for me is that they are screw on, but I have very little material to screw them to. Good old rusty arches on the MK2 Shoguns  Rolling Eyes .

Best get the tube bender and welder out first  Wink

Just bought a set as well. Seems to be decent stuff.
Fitting should not be any problem in my case as my beast has plastic factory arches extensions.
Hopefully it’s straight forward challenge.
I will let you know when done.
Stay safe mate and keep smiling !
Regards
