Blatently borrowed from another forum I inhabit, a topic for those little clever secrets that these machines have that you would only find out about by accident or reading the whole of the owners manual.
Heres mine to start, If you double press the lock button on the key the mirrors fold away, double click on unlock and they fold back out! Simple but made me smile..... |

It only works for a few seconds after you have locked or unlocked the car.
Not reading manuals, or for that matter instructions of any kind, seems to be a man thing!

Nope, definatly doesn't work on my 2004 mk3. Tried it 4 times and doesn't work!! |

Also if you forget to unfold them they will fold out automatically once you reach a certain speed. |

Yep mine does all of that ( press the button 3 times not twice )

yes they will but you have to fold them in before you turn engine off or they will not fold out as you drive off next time |

Well as a Gen 1 owner, I really don't think this oh so basic truck has any tricks. Very few problems too. |
