hello everyone,

I am thinking of making the leap of faith and running on svo for financial reasons. my question is can you also upgrade the ecu also.

P.S I am driving a 2001 3.2 did

Confirmed and seconded - don't even dream of putting SVO anywhere near the tank of a post 2000 shogun - or any car for that matter with a 'non mechanical' injection pump.

You may think your first tank of fuel is cheap, but when you get the bill for a new injector pump you won't be so happy ..

Scope for ECU upgrades on the 3.2 are very limited. You can get various types costing up to £300 but they are bolt on items not upgrades in the strictest sense. I'm unsure why you would want to anyway, the 3.2 when healthy has more than enough torque and cruising capability to get you disqualified.
