hi guys been away from the club for years but have never stopped owning pajeros, I recently noticed now and then I would go out to start the Pajero and right on the initial crank of the engine it would stall instantly, then on cranking again it would take 5 or 6 cranks to finally fire up, after this she would run perfect. ( last year I did a full belt, plugs, water pump and total deck on her), my mechanic friend said it could be a leaky injector, so I took the gdi injectors out and had them cleaned and pressure tested and unfortunatley they came back as in perfect condition. im in the process of putting everything back together but im now not sure what the issue could be, it seems this problem only occurs after the car has been sitting a day or so, so im wondering would the low pressure system have a non return valve thats failing on me or would it be an issue with the high pressure side, I know the high pressure pump only comes into play after 3000 rpm so was wondering if its on the low pressure side. just not sure what to look for next. apart from this the car once running runs 100% spot on. cheers
