P0106: Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor Range/Performance Problem
===
Hey folks!
I'm new to the group so forgive me if this has already been posted before.

Anyways, I have a really niggly problem with my 2007 Shogun 3.2 DiD and any mechanic or auto spark I go to either won't look at it or doesn't know what to do.
Hopefully you guys can help. So here's the scenario.

- My Shogun/Pajero continually goes into Limp mode when I'm on a long straight run. Generally speaking I'm at cruising speed 60MPH/100KMH when suddenly the lights will come on and the vehicle is in limp.
- This happen if I'm towing or not (pretty dangerous at times)
- Usually I turn the ignition OFF/ON a couple of time and englne light goes out and it drive fine for another short time before doing it again
- Most of the time the check engine light goes out but occasionally it stays on for a while, then goes out.
- CODE ON MY OBDII reader is: P0106: Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor Range/Performance Problem

Things that I have done to resolve:

- Inlet manifold is stripped and cleaned
- Inlet manifold pipe cleaned
- inlet manifold rubber hose replaced
- EGR valve blanked and mapped out
- DPF 'should' have been gutted and mapped out
- MAP sensor was replaced with a cheap eBay and it happened more often so I replaced with a second hand part from a breakers. Still getting the same problem
- Turbo was checked over and seems fine

===
Is there anything that I'm missing here other than checking all wiring?

Could this be a bad map when the EGR was removed?

Where would I go or what could I do next?

===
So far this has cost me a fortune and I haven't gotten anywhere near solving the problem.

Hopefully you guys can help as I'm just about ready to give up.

Thanks All,

Andy
