hi,  

i recently bought a 1994 2.8l pajero, automatic. everything in the dash works except the rev counter and speedo. i have replaced the cluster as o thought that might be the problem but there was no change, i know the replacement ones work. is there a common ground point that may be the issue with the two? or are there any other suggestions.

i have read a lot of different pages on here but i cant find any solid suggestions.
