A while ago I had bother with my radiator and subsequently had it taken out, repaired and refitted. Since had it done again as the cowboy dealer did a bodge job the first time.
This happened in the winter so when the summer came and the AC was required low and behold it did not work.
My question is, there are 2 valves marked H&L and are screwed down tight, are they meant to be this way?, did the cowbow effectivley turn these valves off so that I would come back and be charged for regassing when he could just turn them back on? or did he turn them off and genuinely forgot to turn back on?. Are these vales meant to be screwed down tight or can I open them?
Come on, someone must know, dont want to tip up at an AC place to be ripped.
Thanks
Al.

These are not valves to turn on/off the gas they are covers over the service ports to fill the gas etc if you loosen them the covers will come off and you will see a valve in side just like a tyre valve
When they took out the rad they have prob disconected the pipes to the condenser and lost the gas
