|
|
Just got back from a 200 mile trip from Cornwall with caravan in tow. While playing 'aim for the drive in reverse', spotted dripping fluid from under the engine. I reckon it's water - but it's cold (so not from the rad), and it's clean (so not washer bottle with anti smear stuff).
We ran the air conditioning virtually all the way home (it's bit warm today!), soooo -- I wonder if it could be condensation from the air con?
Any ideas? Ta muchly. |

And if its blowing out of the overflow of the expansion bottle it generally comes out in front of it.. |

yep, behind the f/n/s wheel and in a bit is the place! So that'll be it then -- and it stopped later last night so I'm assuming all is normal.
Thanks again. |

all motors with air conditioning drop water out of the drip pipe.
if you look at the ac pipes under the bonnet with the air con on you will see them very wet with condensation.
nothing to worry about.
THANK THE BIG MAN ABOVE.
