Hello all. I am new here having just bought my first Pajero - a 1995 2.8 swb.

I am considering fitting a blanking plate and know this means the pump has to be adjusted / re-calibrated.

Can anybody recommend a mechanic in Hertfordshire or NW London with experience of this "conversion" ??

Had a look at the many posts and the photos - I think I can manage installing the plate myself as long as no adjusment of the pump is needed.

Have ordered the plate from the POCUK shop.

No, opinion seems divided on whether i need to replace the gasket or just put the plate straight on.........

Di need to make a new gasket out of drinks can or was that just those using the can as a blanking plate ?

when fitting the blanking plate there's no need to remove the egr just undo the two bolts and pull them out, slide gasket out and then slide blanking plate in, put bolts back in, job done .
