So i came to re insure my car last friday, my insurance company wanted £830 fully comp(with out the mods declared)
phone around and noone would beat it, untill i phoned Adrian Flux, £430 fully comp, all mods declared, off road cover, key cover, recovery even off road or outside a pay and play site not bad considering my age |

Just renewed my insurance....SWB Pajero Mk 2 (91) 2.5 TDI Fully Comp with Adrian Flux. £255...
I think that`s pretty good really. I`ve been with them for the last year and my premium has risen about £26 which in this day and age of rising premiums (for no apparent reason) is ok I feel. |

I was with privilage for yrs then i upgraded my old paj to the newer model and wot a jump in insurance , so i reminded them that i'd been a customer for yrs but to no avail , so i shopped around and got a deal of 281 quid last yr but with my bank hsbc so was well chuffed , then this yr they sent me my renewal and it doubled to 485 quid so i again reminded them that i was a safe driver with over 10 yrs of no claims , so i went elsewhere and got the same deal as hsbc the yr before of 269 quid through sureterm and am now even happier cos i got a better deal , my quarm is how when ur a safe driver u get reprimanded for others inqualities bloody cheek , if it keeps happening then i think i shall have to an insurance claim just to justify wot others do lol .. |

I did the same... and when i spoke to my insurance company they said it was beause of all the uninsured drivers in my area.. so i insured elsewhere.. next year i was told it was because of all the claims.. so i said that the ones that keep claiming should pay far more than anyone else... to that i got the answer.. so you think that the person that has the accident and makes a claim should pay the insurance company back.. to which i replied a big YES.. he then said .. " but that would be wrong wouldnt it"""
Sorry mr insurance man but you are full of *beep*.. if ya claim you should pay more.. i have been driving and paying insurance for 27 years and never made a claim.. but i am told i am a risk.. hmmm |

Do adrian flux just offer part-time limited mile policies for these amounts quoted or are they daily driver types?
I just got a requote on my dads (mint!) 2.8 with a view to taking it off him...£1000+ !!
Think I'll be reconsidering and carry on struggling with the 2.5.
My prob is that my 2.5 is just a weekend caravan tugger and I only use it for 2/3000 miles if I'm lucky. I just dont think I could afford £100 per month on that basis?
It seems though that anything I've looked at recently to do the job of a (twin axle) tugger has £700 - £1000+ insurance tags attached. Paj/Shogun/Disco/Terrano/Sedona etc... |

Have you tried sureterm, they were bob on for me.As for part time ins i dont think so but if your milage is limited to 3k and in a garage then premium should be cheaper. |

I contacted Adrian Flux about my renewal and I have given me an excellent price of £324 including breakdown cover which I am really pleased with when you consider I've only been driving for 4 years and I'm the great old age of 27 |

shopped around as was desperate to get a lower premium this year. 18 years of no claims. was just about to bow to the inevitable as my current provider (division of Bedford Insurance) wanted to take an extra £15 a month from me when I came across Adrian Flux. Got an £80 saving for the year so well pleased. My advice: shop around and tell your current providers you are doing so (if they raise your premiums without good reason) |
