could anyone tell me how to go about obtaining compliance certificate from manufacturer mitsy pajero 1993 already registered here in uk but need compliance certificate for export to australia? thanks shaun.

Couple of things, certificate almost impossible to get, and have you costed transportation of Pajero to Aussie, would it not be more economical to sell here, and purchase over there, cos, I am sure that their import tax on it would be more than what it is actually worth here. and they also have a stringent test for imported vehicles.

You would have had 2 compliance certificates (if it was under 10 years old when it was brought here), one is the Japanese de-registration document and the other is the SVA certificate.

Both of these are sent to the DVLA when you register the vehicle and they keep them.

So I would think you need to speak to the DVLA and you will probably get a suitable certificate when you deregister the vehicle with them.

Unless the MOT certificate is acceptable as a compliance certificate, but I doubt it.
