Hello

Thanks to Ebay I am now the proud owner of a 1999 3 litre V6 petrol  Mitsubishi Challenger..... Very Happy

I live in Russia but just cant drive a left hand drive car so I came back 'home' to get this vehicle. I love it !!!!

BUT I have to drive it back to Russia and have it passed through all the regulations so i can drive it on Russian roads....and heres the problem. They demand to see the engine number to make sure its the same as on the Log Book. They have all these flexible mirrors to get everywhere they need. The handbook gives the position of the number with a little diagram , but I could not see it there so i took the car to a Mitsubishi garage and thanks to a friendly service guy, he crawled all over the engne with his own flexi mirror.....and he could nont see it either. he got the information on where it should be from the Service departments computer disc.  So as it stands I cant drive the Challenger back to Russia as if I cant show them where the engine number is they will not allow the car to stay there. thats a long drive to have to omake in the opposite direction !!!!

So Forum experts, please,  WHERE'S THE ENGINE NUMBER on a 3 litre petrol engine ???????????????????????????????

Fingers crossed !!!!!

Thanks
Steve
