Very Happy hi there im having a bit of trouble and need someones help,to import my 1992 long wheel base 2.5td exceed i need a series number.

      1----------kg
      2----------kg
plus total weights front and back i think     some where round the 2720 kg?and 6020kg these were given to me by some one whose imported a 97 shogun into france but i wanted to make sure first as they love to shuffle paper around to keep themselves in a job.
on my top line of the plate under the bonnet is
ov 44wg rpf  ?
then the chassis number thats fine
i think this series number has 17 digits

Hi Phil,

I'm sorry I can't help your query, but when you get it sorted could you post a quick 'how to' of the process and costs involved in doing this please? In a year or two if things go to plan I'll be looking to register my Challenger in France and have so far only heard tales of woe...

:Dhi si thanks for the reply ive allready imported my renault truck here,if its an import itsa bit more work butnothing that cant be overcome it does vary on the D.R.I.R.E in the department (minisry of tranport) get a certificate of conformity and you may have to pay impot tax acc to how old the vehicle is l/h/d headlights and move the fog light over to the other side(good site for h/lights on e bay the headlamp shop its in germany but quite reasonable a pair for my pajero new 149 squid +p&p hope this helps.    phil

This is from the Milners site page that has all the Pajero model numbers - they are the ones in brackets, I think yours will be V44P.
