Hello !!

Has anyone ever tried to export a Pajero from the UK to Portugal ??

I am having all sorts of difficulty obtaining information that the Portugese Customs dept requests:

Providing original first registration documents (Japan).
  "Homologated" data for the vehicle.

Currently the car is in Portugal (Garaged) as the MOT & tax have now expired, so I cannot even return the vehicle to the UK.

Any advise, help etc...... would be most appreciated.

Phil

Worst case scenario - returning it to the UK - the discussion here might be of interest: http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hubb/europe/crossing-eu-no-mot-road-32649  (read down a few messages, they start talking about EU rules).

Sorry I can't help with the ideal situation of successfully importing to Portugal, but good luck.
