Hi I modded my Paj ages ago the sump guard was covered in waxoil and looked dram so i removed it ( 4 bolts) cleaned off waxoil with degreaser, rubbed it down primed it and sprayed in Gold which is the main colour of my Pajero.
I also replaced the naff looking plastic oil cooler grill with a nice mesh one available from all good motorist / boy racer shops about ?10 will get you you a piece that will make two grill guards, cut to shape and fasten with some stailnless steel self tappers which fit in to existing fixings
